What part(s) of the building does my rental include?
You have access to the Ballroom level (2nd floor) and the balcony level that overlooks the Ballroom floor (3rd floor). Please note that the Turner Hall Restaurant (1st floor) and Turner Hall Climbing Gym (basement) are not operated by the Pabst Theater Foundation and would need to be rented separately.
Where can my guests park?
There are two parking lots on either side of Turner Hall, as well as a parking structure next to the building. This is all paid, public parking that is available to your guests. Rates are determined by events going on across the street at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. We offer the option to purchase a select number of spots for vendors or close family members in the lot on the North side of Turner Hall to ensure that those people are able to park as close as possible. Remember that we are within blocks from many of the hotels downtown, so shuttle service or cabs are a great option.
Is there on site catering?
No. We encourage you to choose any licensed caterer that best fits your personality and your wedding. We have a list of featured vendors that come recommended by Turner Hall Ballroom on our Vendors page. While catering is brought in through an outside source, please note that drink service must go through Turner Hall Ballroom. We have a number of bar package options for you to select from to ensure that all of your beverage needs are met.
Do I have to use vendors from the featured vendor list?
No. We work often (and enjoy doing so!) with each vendor featured on our list. We highly recommend using any of them due to their familiarity with Turner Hall Ballroom's facilities and procedures. That being said, we understand that you may want to personalize your experience as much as possible, and for that reason, you are able to use vendors outside of those that are featured.
Is there an on site coordinator?
Yes. Our rental fee includes an on site coordinator to help facilitate vendor delivery and pick up and day of set up. You will meet with a coordinator throughout your planning process to ensure that when the Big Day arrives, you'll all be on the same page.
When can I access the space?
Your rental is for 12 hours. This includes vendor delivery, set up and decorating. Our standard rental time is Noon-Midnight, however, you can choose to be in the space earlier (i.e. 10 am - 10 pm). All weddings must end at Midnight.
Can we have a rehearsal?
In the event that you are hosting your ceremony and reception at Turner Hall we will do our best to accommodate a wedding rehearsal. Due to the demand of the Ballroom, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that the space will be available the day before your wedding. Please work with the Turner Hall Event Coordinator to specify a date and time for your rehearsal. Rehearsal charges may apply.
What is the capacity of the space?
We prefer to keep our weddings at or below 300 people, however, capacity can vary depending on your table layout. Our largest seated dinner capacity is 400.
When can I tour the facility?
Turner Hall Ballroom tours are available by appointment only. Please see our 'Contact' page to fill out a request for information and to schedule a walk through.
Is Turner Hall Ballroom handicap accessible?
Yes. We have an elevator entrance on the North side of Turner Hall that goes to all levels of the building.
